Edmonton Family Photographer * Turton Family

You can’t tell from the smile and the warm Autumn colours, but this session with the Turton family was miserably cold. I fell like the temperature drop from the day before to the day of the session was about 25 degrees. I’ve known Amy since we were in elementary school together, maybe even playschool. We reconnected over Facebook and it was an honour to be able to photograph their family at one of my favorite natural areas in the Edmonton region. The Fall colours at Chickakoo Lake were top notch. Alberta doesn’t see many reds and oranges in the Fall as we don’t have Maple trees. But the dogwood bushes deliver a bit of extra punch.  It was great talking with Amy and Searle about our kids and the activities they are into. The little one is such a little card.  I think he gets it from his dad.
