Two days ONLY — November 25 & 26, 2017. Christmas mini sessions will be at my studio, conveniently located off the Whitemud and Anthony Henday in west Edmonton.
Sessions are 20 minutes long (appointments scheduled every 30 minutes, participants must show up on TIME).
Up to 4 children per 20 minutes. If you have more children, please book two back to back 20 minute time slots.
And NEW this year — I can take bookings for families! Yay! There is a catch. My set can only accommodate families with small children, as the children have to sit on their parent’s laps.
These sessions are also meant for those that are able to sit up on their own. Babies under six months old would have to sit with mom or dad for support.
The style of this Christmas set up is perfect for pajamas or a Holiday outfit! You can also bring a Christmas book or toy for your child’s photo. I will have a few props on hand.

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
I love when families are up to a bit of an adventure in the Edmonton River Valley. I met part of the McKenzie family through the Mommy Connections program. Mom and their littlest one were attendees at one of the summer classes I did mom and baby photographs for. It was wonderful to meet their whole family for an evening summer family session. The evening light in the Millcreek Ravine is so perfect. And we had no mosquitoes. A perfect evening.
The days leading up to my photo session with Zachary there was a forest fire burning north of Edmonton. This is a very common occurrence in Alberta, in the spring and summer, due to the forests and thunderstorms that roll through, amount other things. It usually doesn’t affect Edmonton, but every once in awhile the wind will blow smoke our way. This happened close to Zachary’s 1st year photo session. And while the air quality wasn’t the best, the smoke gave the early morning sun a warm haze. It was kinda cool to photograph in. Zachary was a sweet little guy to take photos of. He loves his mom and dad!
Baby Ben’leiya was a cuddler. And she got to have extra cuddles from mom & dad, but also Grandma who was visiting from out east. Dad really wanted newborn photos with Ben’leiya’s eyes open. She was awake through all of the photos with her and mom, and then as soon as it was dad’s turn she fell asleep. Of course. I did get one before she nodded off.
