Two days ONLY — November 25 & 26, 2017. Christmas mini sessions will be at my studio, conveniently located off the Whitemud and Anthony Henday in west Edmonton.
Sessions are 20 minutes long (appointments scheduled every 30 minutes, participants must show up on TIME).
Up to 4 children per 20 minutes. If you have more children, please book two back to back 20 minute time slots.
And NEW this year — I can take bookings for families! Yay! There is a catch. My set can only accommodate families with small children, as the children have to sit on their parent’s laps.
These sessions are also meant for those that are able to sit up on their own. Babies under six months old would have to sit with mom or dad for support.
The style of this Christmas set up is perfect for pajamas or a Holiday outfit! You can also bring a Christmas book or toy for your child’s photo. I will have a few props on hand.

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.
Allison Anderson, Teagan Photography
Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
Here she is! Introducing Tristan Mckinley Anderson, born November 15th 2010 at 8.32 AM weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces and 21.5 inches long. It took me awhile to get som newborn photos edited, as the week after I got out of the hospital was one of the busiest in our lives (maybe even as busy as the week leading up to our wedding!)
My chunky little girl was breech, so I opted to have a planned c-section as it was the safest way for her to be born. Now that I have had two babies, both ways…I think I prefer the c-section. It was over and done within an hour….no 33 hours of labour like Teagan’s birth! It was also special for my husband as he got to bond with Tristan while I was in the post-op recovery room. I think the hardest part (other than no driving or heavy lifting for awhile) is I can’t sneeze properly because it pulls the stitches!
Our little family of four has been adjusting to our new life and Teagan is doing really well as a big sister. She is constantly asking where her baby sister is and wants to hold her (as long as a camera is not nearby). I did take a picture of the two of them together. However, poor Tristan looks like she is hanging on for dear life and Teagan is doing her classic “blank stare”. Teagan lasted about two minutes (even with the promise of marshmallows). Sigh….
I love these pouty lips (although I may change my mind when she is 10 and wants to wear lipstick)!
We are Seattle Seahawks fans and for my husband’s 40th birthday (which was the day after I got out of the hospital) he got a new Seahawks blanket from his girls. I thought it would be a fun background and Tristan seemed to really like it too.
This goodlooking crew is the new on-air staff for Edmonton’s newest radio station UP! 99.3. Whatever happened to having “a face for radio”? The station signed on just over two weeks ago and it sounds pretty cool! Even my husband likes it, and he only listens to sports talk radio (yawn….)!
If you want to find more out about the on-air hosts here is the link to all their show times and bios!
Today is my last day at work (at the day job)! Sweet! Mat-leave starts Monday. Now what will I do with myself for the next three weeks? Maybe start by trying to remember how to apply for my mat-leave coverage from the federal government! I remember that took me forever to figure out with Teagan. They sure don’t make it easy! ;)
Here are some pictures from my last official photoshoot before mat-leave. It was also the last really nice day of weather in Edmonton (I think it started snowing the next day). Connie, Roy and Jetta were really fun and it was great to meet them!
