Two days ONLY — November 25 & 26, 2017. Christmas mini sessions will be at my studio, conveniently located off the Whitemud and Anthony Henday in west Edmonton.
Sessions are 20 minutes long (appointments scheduled every 30 minutes, participants must show up on TIME).
Up to 4 children per 20 minutes. If you have more children, please book two back to back 20 minute time slots.
And NEW this year — I can take bookings for families! Yay! There is a catch. My set can only accommodate families with small children, as the children have to sit on their parent’s laps.
These sessions are also meant for those that are able to sit up on their own. Babies under six months old would have to sit with mom or dad for support.
The style of this Christmas set up is perfect for pajamas or a Holiday outfit! You can also bring a Christmas book or toy for your child’s photo. I will have a few props on hand.

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend….and what a lovely long weekend it is! I am sitting at my desk listening to the “soothing” sounds of the Canada geese on the lake behind our house and the electrical saw in our basement. My husband is hard at work trying to get our basement finished before baby number 2 arrives in a few weeks!
Here are a couple photos from last weekend’s session with the Ponton family at Emily Murphy Park. When we settled on a time and place for the photoshoot, I told the Ponton’s to look for the pregnant woman with the camera. They told me to look for a fmaily of four wearing black shirts. So when I arrived at the park there was another photographer just arriving. And shortly afterwards a family of four wearing all black arrived….but they went to him! I was thinking “did he just steal my clients?” However the Ponton’s drove up a few minutes later and everything was great!
This was a family session that almost didn’t happen! From what I understand, Mom went into labour with her second baby in the night after this session was over! Good thing we booked the time we did! And little G wasn’t feeling too well, but as soon as daddy made sneezing noises, she would burst out laughing. It was great! (sidenote: I tried to get my husband to try that trick with Teagan…to coax out a smile with her. She wasn’t impressed.)
Dear Teagan, you are two years old today. When did this happen? It seems like yesterday we were bringing your tiny little body home from the hospital. I can still remember almost everything about your birth and how excited we were to have you. And of course we were so suprised to see all your dark hair.
You’ve changed so much in the last two years. Your hair has gotten so long, you are the chattiest kid, and you make us laugh everyday. You adore your daddy and it’s so sweet when you tell us you love us before bedtime. It seems like every day, I want to freeze you in time just as you are. Thank you for being more incredible than your daddy and I ever imagined you would be. And thank you for bringing more joy to our lives than we ever could have dreamed. Love, Mommy.
To celebrate Teagan’s second birthday and my husband’s upcoming 40th birthday next month (which also happens to fall on my due date with our second child…..and the premiere of the new Harry Potter movie…hee hee), I took them out for a “Daddy/Daughter” photoshoot this week. She’s not the most compliant child for the camera, but she had fun playing with daddy.
I love this face…..it’s her “cheese” face…..closest she would come to smiling for me. Little monkey!
