If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
Can you believe that we still have no snow in Edmonton? I’ve been swamped with families that thought they had missed their chance for outdoor family sessions! But I am probably the only person hoping it will snow (and snow a lot) very soon. I have a session booked for next weekend and they want a “winter” setup. Crossing my fingers! Sorry Edmonton.
Anyways, I met up with Kathy and Gerry a week or so ago on a chilly but bright morning. They were the lucky recipients of a gift certificate I had donated to the Engineers Without Borders silent auction. They were a fun couple and it was great meeting them!
I will forever be suspicious of ladybugs, because of this session. Mom and dad spent some years in Ontario, and they told me that the ladybugs out East bite! This story came out when I was setting up my props. I have a ladybug bean bag chair that I use to pose the babies, and that sparked the man-eating ladybug story!
On that note — meet sweet baby Bronwyn, just days old and adored by her parents. She was a great sleeper during the session, but MAN is she strong! Despite being zonked out, she fought me on almost all of the poses! Mom bought this really cute knit pumpkin set from an Edmonton company called Kiki’s Kreations. I might have to pick up my own set.
It was wonderful meeting Baby Browwyn and getting to snuggle her for a couple hours! Thanks for having me over!
One of the problems with working late at night is not being able to think of anything to write in a blog. I always feel like I am forgetting something or not making the post very interesting. *sigh* Anyways…..
Meet the D Family — super cute kids and a good looking mom & dad! They were a lot of fun during our late Fall river valley shoot. Enjoy!
