Rebuilding in Progress

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with  the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider.  For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.

Baby W * Edmonton Newborn Photographer

Meet Baby W! I’d write her full name, cause it’s really cool, but out of respect to the family’s privacy I don’t release names. But it is a really cool name. Might have to add it to a future baby name list, should we decide to go down that road again.

Back to Baby W. She’s sweet, a wee little thing, and crazy strong! When she wanted to curl in a ball, there was no convincing her otherwise. Thank you for letting me capture some memories of your baby girl, J & D! She’s a doll.

Baby M * Edmonton Newborn Photographer

Introducing Baby M, one of three babies I got to snuggle over the Christmas break! He’s just delicious.

Mom & dad were the winners of this photo session through Urban Chickadee‘s prenatal Bump Camp. This is a program I wish was around when my first child was born — especially for the car seat installation segment! You can’t leave the hospital without a properly installed baby seat, but the hospitals don’t show you how to do it. Expectant parents need to check out the next session. Information on Bump Camp can be found here.

This is my favorite photo of all time! Could they look any more perfect?

Baby M * Sherwood Park Newborn Photographer

Introducing Baby M! He is the sweet little guy of this gorgeous couple (and their dog). Baby M and Baby B (the session prior) were both born on the same day, both were fabulous sleepers and both look super cure in the reindeer hat.   I’m sad Christmas is over because now that hat has to go back into the Christmas prop box.

After an extended stay in hospital, Baby M was about a week older than I like for newborn sessions, so I was nervous about how it would go.  But he was fantastic!  And at 17 days old all the typical newborn scratches, bumps, and blotchy skin patches were gone. He had skin like butter! Such a cutie.

Congratulations Mom & Dad….he’s just perfect!

And after almost two straight months of baby boys — I am excited to have a couple of newborn girls this weekend! I’ve got some super cute girlie hats that I have been dying to use.
