Edmonton Christmas Minis -- November 23-25, 2018

Christmas Minis 2018 blog.jpg

Three days ONLY —  November 23, 24 & 25, 2018. Christmas mini sessions will be at my studio, conveniently located off the Whitemud and Anthony Henday in west Edmonton.

  • Sessions are 20 minutes long (appointments scheduled every 30 minutes, participants must show up on TIME).
  • Up to 4 children per 20 minutes. If you have more children, please book two back to back 20 minute time slots.
  • And NEW this year — I can take bookings for families!  Yay!  There is a catch. My set can only accommodate families with small children, as the children have to sit on their parent’s laps.
  • These sessions are also meant for those that are able to sit up on their own. Babies under six months old would have to sit with mom or dad for support.

The style of this Christmas set up is perfect for pyjamas or a Holiday outfit! You can also bring a Christmas book or toy for your child’s photo. I will have a few props on hand.

Rebuilding in Progress

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with  the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider.  For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.

One of the problems with working late at night is not being able to think of anything to write in a blog. I always feel like I am forgetting something or not making the post very interesting.  *sigh*  Anyways…..

Meet the D Family — super cute kids and a good looking mom & dad! They were a lot of fun during our late Fall river valley shoot. Enjoy!

I am attempting to blog with my baby on my lap…who is thoroughly enjoying smacking the keyboard. I think I am catching all the baby related spelling errors.

I was so excited that Nicola (who is also one the co-planners of the Urban Mommy Expo) wanted an urban look for their photos. It sucked that the weather was so cold on the day of our session, but the kids did great under the circumstances!  And their fun personalities fit the vibrant colours and setting perfectly!

Hope you like the photos!

And while dad loaded the kids in the car, Nicola and I did a quick head-shot session for her company Sprogs.ca. Need some cool Canadian made things for kids? Check out her website!

I need to go to bed. It’s 1:30am…but I had an extra large cup of tea an hour ago. Dumb.  However, my little burst of energy did let me get the C Family’s blog finished! Yay caffeine!

I met Kim at the Urban Mommy Expo a few weeks ago. She was one of our awesome vendors, selling some pretty sweet things including a super cool line of handbags. Check out Kim’s website: Lavish by Kim. Do a little pre-Christmas shopping while you are there (less than two months to go). We had a fantastic day for their session. It was warm and sunny, and we got some good smiles from all the children.

Hope you love your photos C Family!  It was great meeting you all!  Okay I am going to bed now.
