If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
Meet the MacDonald family! Best start to a session ever — as I walked into their home I could smell cinnamon buns baking (that dad had made no less). Also their tree was up and decorated, presents were wrapped and it was snowing outside! Pretty good combo. We did some indoors photos and I convinced them that we should go outside. It was the first snowfall of the year — something to commemorate with great family photos! But it sure felt cold! It was only minus 1, but that was the coldest it had been since last winter. It’s funny how that works. After the weather we had last weekend…minus 1 is a heat wave.
Mom and I met when I did photos for the Fall class withMommy Connections- Spruce Grove. You can see some of the the photos from here. If you are a new mom in Spruce Grove & Stony Plain, you should check out the fantastic Mommy Connections program.
What a little man! I had a blast photographing Timmy for his first birthday. I love cake smash sessions because they seem more like fun and less like work! Timmy actually stayed fairly clean while eating his cake. He did give himself a decent blue butter-cream beard and then got into the smash part of the session after all the icing was gone. Happy birthday Timmy!
If you are interested in booking a cake smash session for your own little one, please contact me. It’ll be lots of fun!
Baby A is sooooo cute! I was gushing over her our entire session! Seriously…..so cute. And she was such a happy baby! That makes sessions so easy. This age — about 6-9 months is such a fun age to photograph. Baby A’s mom and I met at Weestock last month. I’m glad you stopped by booth — I loved taking your daughter’s pictures! I hope you love them too!
