Three days ONLY — November 23, 24 & 25, 2018. Christmas mini sessions will be at my studio, conveniently located off the Whitemud and Anthony Henday in west Edmonton.
Sessions are 20 minutes long (appointments scheduled every 30 minutes, participants must show up on TIME).
Up to 4 children per 20 minutes. If you have more children, please book two back to back 20 minute time slots.
And NEW this year — I can take bookings for families! Yay! There is a catch. My set can only accommodate families with small children, as the children have to sit on their parent’s laps.
These sessions are also meant for those that are able to sit up on their own. Babies under six months old would have to sit with mom or dad for support.
The style of this Christmas set up is perfect for pajamas or a Holiday outfit! You can also bring a Christmas book or toy for your child’s photo. I will have a few props on hand.

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
Meet Ronan, the star of my first session with The Tiny Light Foundation. I was so nervous going into this photo shoot. I was worried about how Ronan would react to me. I was worried I would say or do something wrong and upset him. But most of all, I was worried that I would not be able to get a photo of Ronan smiling - and that was what the S family really wanted. Dad travels a lot with his job in the military and only has an old photo of his son with him. I was so happy to have gotten a few smiles and I was so honoured to be able to spend time with Ronan and his family.
After several weather related session rescheduling, the weather was looking promising on photo day. Partly sunny and a high of about 17 sounded good. Well, the weather man got that wrong! When I arrived at our location it was barely cracking plus 7 degrees! But judging by the huge smiles on this adorable little girl, it could have been perfect weather. The B family was a dream to photograph! Thank you for spending an hour with me on a chilly Saturday afternoon!
Meet the W family and their three month old baby boy! I met up with them last month on a gorgeous Sunday morning in the river valley. We had a relatively quick session as little T was itching for some baby shut-eye. But he was a trooper! And I was amazed at how he could stand at three months old! That boy is strong!
Both mom and dad are members of Canada’s military and it was a honour to take photos for them. In my previous career (in radio news) I spent time at the Edmonton Garrison, covering various stories, and I was always blown away by the men and women in our military. Dad is scheduled for deployment back to Afghanistan next month as part of the major undertaking of bringing all the Canadian troops and equipment home.
Dad is also a huge Edmonton Oiler’s fan and wanted to get some shots of him and his son in their matching jerseys! I love sports families! (mine is all about the Seattle Seahawks) It was a pleasure meeting you W family!
