If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider. For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.
I can only imagine how frustrated you must be with having to rebuild your blog from scratch, but I can't wait to see the new results. Photobucket should be ashamed of themselves for making such a dramatic change overnight without any warning. Good luck to you!
That is definitely frustrating! Doing things without warning is such a horrible business move. I am so sorry and hope you're able to redo your photography blog quickly!
WOW. I can't believe they would sit there and mess with photographers like that! It's one thing to sit there and set up a service fee, it's another to do it with no warning!
I adore my WordPress site! Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get everything up and going!

Gee I'm really sorry to hear about this mess you've been left with! Photobucket will have no customers by the end of all this. Good luck rebuilding your blog, and what a beautiful family photo this is with your gorgeous little Shadow!
It’s almost the end of August, but yesterday’s weather felt like late fall (knock on wood)! And the wind — was it ever strong! I kept hearing one of the local radio announcers saying it was a “bit breezy outside.” Tad bit of an understatement! Anyways, I spent a few hours outside at the Edmonton Humane Society’s Agility Fun Match. The dog’s looked like they were having so much fun! It’s too bad my dog Shadow doesn’t listen to me, or I would love to get her involved in agility. But I don’t know how her short little legs would get over some of those jumps! If anyone is interested in joining an agility class with their dog follow this link.

Would I be able to get a copy of the picture of my dog (black dog with giraffe leash). This picture is wonderful. Did you get any pictures of him on the agility equipment.
Here are a couple of sweet animals from the Edmonton Humane Society. Also on a sidenote: Edmonton is experiencing some pretty poor air quality right now because of the smoke from forest fires in British Columbia. This blurb is from the society’s website, because it’s not just humans that can have breathing problems due to the smoke. ”IMPORTANTNOTICE - The Edmonton Humane Society is advising people to remember their pets’ health with the large amount of smoke that is in our region due to the BC forest fires. As a precaution at this time, anyone who feels the need to keep themselves or family members indoors due to health concerns should also remember their pets and limit the time their animals are outdoors as well until the air quality improves.”
I love taking picture of animals — even more so when they are only seven weeks old, like this little girl! Gucci was adopted from the Central Animal Services in Lacombe. She is sooooo small! Gucci’s new mom has one of those Travelocity Roaming Gnomes that was probably about as tall as as a ketchup bottle. As you can see in the first photo, Gucci barely comes half-way up the gnome! (sidenote: my daughter saw this picture and was so excited cause she thinks the gnome is Santa) Gucci was such a good little model! Hope you like the photos!
