Two days ONLY —  November 25 & 26, 2017. Christmas mini sessions will be at my studio, conveniently located off the Whitemud and Anthony Henday in west Edmonton.

  • Sessions are 20 minutes long (appointments scheduled every 30 minutes, participants must show up on TIME).
  • Up to 4 children per 20 minutes. If you have more children, please book two back to back 20 minute time slots.
  • And NEW this year — I can take bookings for families!  Yay!  There is a catch. My set can only accommodate families with small children, as the children have to sit on their parent’s laps.
  • These sessions are also meant for those that are able to sit up on their own. Babies under six months old would have to sit with mom or dad for support.

The style of this Christmas set up is perfect for pajamas or a Holiday outfit! You can also bring a Christmas book or toy for your child’s photo. I will have a few props on hand.

Rebuilding in Progress

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with  the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider.  For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.

Edmonton Child Photographer * Aria is 1

Oh Aria you are so sweet, but you did not want to be contained during your outdoor photo session to celebrate your first birthday. However, because our session was along the North Saskatchewan River  mom and dad had to keep a tight leash on you. Most of Aria’s smiles came when she was trying to run away from us.

This little sweetheart was part of my Year of Firsts package. You can view past sessions on my blog, starting with her 6 month session. It was a chilly day for our Fall family session, in an area now known as Accidental Beach, at Henrietta Muir Edwards Park. We powered through with some songs, snuggles and letting Aria run where she wouldn’t fall into the river.  I had a fabulous year photographing their family and watching Aria grow. They are a military family and have since been relocated to British Columbia.

Edmonton Family Photographer * Seibt Family

I first met the Siebt family when I photographed the two boys as babies with a Mommy Connections class.  They are a lot bigger now; wilder too. Lol.  But very cute and happy children. Mom wanted her photos with Edmonton’s downtown skyline and the Muttart Conservatory pyramids. However, in the time I came to do a location scout and our Edmonton family photo session, construction on the roof of the pyramids began and it was all blocked off.  It was a bit disappointing, however the Muttart is more than just the pyramids. We used the unique cement walls and glass panels as our backgrounds. And were able to squeeze one of the pyramids into the background at the end of the session.

Edmonton Family Photographer * Isackson Family

The Isackson family welcomed a baby boy early in 2015. They travelled to Edmonton in the Fall for a visit with grandparents, and we tacked on a outdoor family session to update their portraits. My last session with their family was at an area of the city with a lot of graffiti, so this year mom wanted their photos at the University of Alberta. There are so many great old buildings at the U of Am with crawling vines anf doors with pops of colour. I need to do Edmonton family sessions her more often.
