Rebuilding in Progress

If you have visited my blog in the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed there are no photos of my sessions. Just a bunch of posts with  the same picture saying I need to update my 3rd Party Service provider.  For the last 10 years I had been using Photobucket to host my blog photos, because it was free. Yeah yeah I know. Free never stays free. And it didn’t. Overnight, one day in June, Photobucket broke the links for 10’s of millions of photos and sent out word that we had to pay for their highest level of service before they would restore the links. Myself and millions of other long time users were shocked and very upset. So I am now trying to rebuild my blog by uploading the photos again through MyFotoJournal, which hosts my blog. This is what I should have done in the beginning. In the meantime, please visit my Facebook Page for the latest photos. This will take a long time to fix.

Ps here is an updated photo of my little family. This was from the last few days we had with our little dog, Shadow.

Edmonton Newborn Photographer * Piper

I met a sweet family when their second little girl was born. Piper loves to snuggle. She wasn’t so keen on being by herself on my Edmonton Newborn Photography posing beanbag. But I did get some cute shots of her big brown eyes.

Edmonton Newborn Photography * Natalya

If you think you can’t get newborn photos because you have missed the traditional 7-10 day post birth window, look through these photos with 1-month-old Natalya!  As an experienced Edmonton Newborn Photographer, I will not tell you no because your baby is too old. There are many reasons why you may not have been able to get photos within that short time frame, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get them. We may have to do different poses or different setups that a baby that is newly born, but you can still get beautiful photos.  Natalya was a such a good sleeper and smiled so much too!  Her puppy Koda even joined in for a photo!  If you visit my Facebook page, you can see the behind the scenes photo of how I took the picture of them together. Such a sweet family.

Edmonton Family Photographer * Milford Family

Can you believe this was the Thanksgiving Long Weekend in Canada?  Ugh, snow. But it melted right away. We were definitely not ready for this weather. And it didn’t stick around. There were days of plus 20 weather all the way to November!  Such a crazy Fall. But even though the Milford family didn’t pick their photo session date hoping they would have snow, we rolled with it. And I love how their photos look! And without the snow, their dog Chester would have probably blended right in with the Autumn colours.
